Get the Last Generation Hip.

I'm going to have to vent a little bit hear for two reasons. One I just used the microwave -- i mean who hasn't? I'll tell you who hasn't -- arthurlene the care-aid. My mother's a sick woman and this lady comes over to clean as a state service her disability qualifies for. Now the lady is real nice and a good worker, actually she is the third my mother has had. So anyway, she comes in today and I'm at the table playing The Complete Sims (11/10/05 the complete collection became available for $39.99 at Best Buy), a new version of the original EA classic, making marks as to which new things will be added to my collection this holiday season (including the black RAZR, a flat screen Emachine, a video camera with a 2" digitla screen) and Miss Arthurlene says she wants to warm up her meat and can I show her how to in the microwave. After a bit more of a convo I find out that this lady doesn't own one and doesn't trust them. She is comfortable enough just using an oven she says. I say well you can't like everything in life but those (ovens) are quite useful gadgets.
Here's what I'm getting at why is this an okay situation? Nothing can compete with the ignorance factor. By this, I mean, If you don't know what you're missing how could you ever really miss it? But should she be allowed to miss it? I felt as if I should jump in and offer other tutorials, like keyless entry versus a key, quills and ink versus a Sharpie, or a space heater versus logs and flame.

an elitist is only as good as his inability to recognize the world outside his ego. in that vain (pun intended)your rantings are ignorantly self-indulgent at best. at worst, you have no respect or patience for the greatest resource of real knowledge on the planet, old people (non-PC euphimism intended). I hope you have more relevant and consequential rantings to offer later.
